ABOUT

"I hope I don't bore you too much with my life story"
- Elvis

Music runs deep in Sunni's blood. Her grandfather, Mike Moon, was the owner of The Stamps Quartet, Elvis' backup group in the 70s and her mother, Lynn Moon, was a performer at Opryland and also toured with many artists, including Vern Gosden. Sunni was just a kid when she first discovered her love for music. At age 11, Sunni picked up her first saxophone, and that's when she discovered that she didn't just love music, it was her passion. Over the next few years, Sunni would go on to win local, regional, state and national talent competitions with her sax. She got her first paying job at the age of 14 in "Good Rockin' Tonite", a show "On the Parkway" in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She then performed as a vocalist and saxophonist at The Grand Majestic Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at the age of 21. For the last year, Sunni has owned and operated (2) family businesses, Performance Academy (an after-school music program) and Moon Family Theatre (a 150-seat capacity venue) in the heart of her family's hometown, Buena Vista, GA. These business ventures have pushed Sunni even further toward her passion of music and now she is finally pursuing her solo music career. This past year, Sunni has opened up for Grammy nominated and Grand Ole Opry members, The Isaacs, the original Tams, country music's famed bloodline, Twitty & Lynn and more. Female saxophonist, drummer, pianist, guitarist, and vocalist, Sunni does it all and she can't wait to see you at her next show.
